RENEWED HOPE: President Tinubu's All Inclusive Governance

Nigeria's media space was rocked and rolled by the images of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu exchanging pleasantries with the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo in Imo state, on the occasion of Governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, who was sworn-in for a second tenure in office, on Monday, 17 January, 2024.

Sequel to the Imo scenario, yesterday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was seen seating side-by-side with his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari, and of course, the former military governor, Retired General Yakubu Gawon was also present on the occasion of the books launched under the name of former President Buhari, in Abuja.

Being the Chairman of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of West African States (ECOWAS), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) maintained that "resilience, determination, courage, love for diversity, though our tongues and tribes differ. We must fight corruption, poverty, inconsistencies in policies and many other problems confronting us, but don't pity me. I asked for the job. I campaigned for it, no excuses. I will live up to the bill. I promise you."

President Tinubu promised Nigerians not to fail to deliver on their expectations by addressing all challenges confronting the country. President Tinubu noted that poverty and inconsistency in policies were some of the many challenges confronting the nation. But, he assured that none of these would be an excuse for non-performance by his administration. Saying there would not be an excuses for failure.
