It's thinkable to lose properties but it's unthinkable and unacceptable to lose lives and that is what we want to avoid. Persons and areas that will be affected by the flood must at this point begin to move to high plane where their lives are protected. If they have livestock to move, they need to do that as soon as possible! ”

Yazid Inuwa Malamin Kasuwa congratulates Malam Musa Umar Yashi – the Executive Director [Humanitarian Affairs], North East Development Commission (NEDC) – for successfully delivering the NESDMP to the Vice President, HE Sen. Kashim Shettima, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.  The Board and Management of NEDC, led by Mohammed Goni Alkali – who is the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the NEDC – presented the North-East Stabilisation and Development Master Plan (NESDMP) to H.
