RENEWED HOPE AGENDA: Towards Nigeria of our Collective BargainingBy Yazid Inuwa MK Bauchi

Today, November 1, 2023, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 2023 cabinet retreat for Ministers, Presidential Aides, Permanent Secretaries and Top Government Functionaries held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, unambiguously reaffirmed his confidence in the economic team he has put in place, currently working towards making Nigeria a country that works for all, irrespective of regional, ethnic, religious, and political denominations.

In Nigeria, many presidents have came and gone, both military and democratically elected; one can stand bold to say, none of them had demonstrated anything close to the incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's steadfastness, resolve, conviction and sheer amount of optimism for a better Nigeria in the nearest future – under the Renewed Hope Agenda. 

However, he is definitely not naive to the fact that, it a Herculean task that demands no stone unturned. And hands must be on deck. President Tinubu maintained his position as a human being bound to make mistakes. But to err is absolutely a human attribute, and as such, when he made mistakes, he should be corrected at all cost. Together as a team, with the civil servants working harmoniously with their respective ministers and other political appointees, is the best way to achieve the expected goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda. 

Right from inception, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has successfully secured numerous landmark achievements through renewed commitments from various national and international bodies, donor agencies, multinational corporations, pledges of business partnerships by foreign investors allover the globe. There is a Renewed Hope for 50 million jobs to be created for the Impoverished Nigerians. And perhaps President Tinubu reiterated his resolve to embrace both the assets and liabilities he inherited from his predecessor.

Yazid Inuwa Malamin Kasuwa congratulates Malam Musa Umar Yashi – the Executive Director [Humanitarian Affairs], North East Development Commission (NEDC) – for successfully delivering the NESDMP to the Vice President, HE Sen.
