Social Investment Programme: Dr. Betta Edu's Landmark Achievement in N-PowerBy Yazid Inuwa MK Bauchi

The Social Investment Programme (SIP), unarguably, is one of the landmark achievements of the APC's past eight years administration. One of the cardinal pivotal of the SIP, under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, before it was mared by some selfish political actors, and corrupt government officials, N-Power has been one of the major components of the SIP. The N-Power programme has saved as a major source of income to hundreds of thousands of the gullible Nigerian youths and impoverished women. 

Immediately after taken over the helm affairs in the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, as the Honorable Minister, wasted no time, swung to action by auditing all the programmes under her ministry. The N-Power received her maximum attention, whereby, she successfully uncovered many racketeering and sheddy business that became a bottleneck, and a hindrance towards achieving the overall objective of the project. 

In her genuine passion for the success of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, Dr. Betta Edu, employees many auditing techniques, and subsequently recover unpaid N-Power funds syphoned by some consultants, corrupt politicians and selfish government officials. Without further much ado, in a close the tap and mend the brocken pipes technique, Dr. Edu, completely brought the N-Power programme to an absolute halt, by stopping all the recruitment and payment process. 

Now that Dr. Betta Edu has announced the recovery of the syphoned N-Power funds, and seek Mr President's approval for the continuation of the programme with immediate effect; we must wholeheartedly commends her pragmatic approach towards tackling the humanitarian crisis and poverty challenges through President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.
