CSU CERTIFICATE IMPASSE: Refuting Atiku and Obi's Inimical Excesses By Yazid Inuwa MK Bauchi
“A popular maxim suggests that, he who comes to equity must do so with clean hands.”
In an effort to score undeserving cheap media score, sequel to serial defeats in the polls and subsequently in the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal; the recent show of shame by the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar glaringly dipicts symptoms of acute political history amnesia he is suffering from.
Even though Nigeria is being referred to as a ʼsleeping giant`, but nonetheless, Nigerians are not that gullible to be taken for a ride, when it comes to defferenciating truth from a swamp of lies. Perhaps Nigerians call a spade a spade, no matter how much it looks like a shovel. And as thus, most Nigerians have since refute the inimical excesses of the PDP presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and his cohort, the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
However, in their so called new found evidence to filed against President Bola Tinubu in the supreme court, the duo should have known better, the supreme court does not accept new evidence. They should just await the supreme court verdict, being the only institution designated by law to abjudicate over the lingering CSU Certificate impasse. But hitherto, they are finding it so hard to concede defeat, go home and start leaking their wounds; but unfortunately, they rather choose to embarked upon another show of shame, owing to the simple fact that, those in glass house should not throw stones.
Atiku and Obi should heed to the current political reality and stop allowing themselves cajoled into degenerating so low to campaign of calumny, character assassination, and cheap blackmail, forgetful that, those in glass house should not throw stones.
