For the past couple of months, Nigeria's media space has been turned to a propaganda battle ground, and perhaps a court room, be it as it might. The media is preoccupied by the absurd Chicago State University Certificate tussle. However, Nigerians are beginning to show less concern over the issue, because they have heard enough of the balderdash. Indeed, the supreme court is the only institution empowered by the Nigeria's construction to abjudicate over the impasse. 

Too much of the avoidable media battle is heating the country's political atmosphere. But it is quite unfortunate the way some armchair lawyers, referring themselves as learned colleges, turned the media into a court, abjudicating over the CSU Certificate tussle, which of course, preempting the supreme court judgement. 

Being the highest authority and a reference point of highest order, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), says there is no proof that President Bola Tinubu forged his academic record at Chicago State University (CSU). BBC’s Global Disinformation Team disclosed this in a report published on Wednesday.

Perhaps Nigerians are expecting much from the incumbent President, and more is being expected out of the Renewed Hope Agenda, as promised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during 2023 electioneering campaign. Without fear of contradiction, one can unequivocally say, beyond every reasonable iota of doubt, that Mr President is taking an unprecedented trajectory towards taking the country out of the creek. 

The CSU Certificate tussle is tantamount to distracting President Tinubu's attention, and the need for him to stay focused, at this moment, can not be overwhelming, because he assumed mantle of leadership at a time when the country is in dare need of rapid development. 

Immediately after taken over the helm of affairs, he swung to action by extending an olive branch to the global community, basically aimed at wooing foreign investors and of course, walking the talking by initiating innumerous investment friendly monetary and piscal policies, that will no doubt tum the country to a serene business atmosphere, and perhaps, his effort has started yielding fruition.
