Malam Musa Umar Yashi: the Best Humanitarian Services Provider of the Year 2012 By Yazid Inuwa MK

To the good people of North East, the name Malam Musa Umar Yashi is synonymous to humanitarian service. Popularly known as Musa Yashi, Musa Umar Yashi is the Executive Director of Humanitarian Affairs, North East Development Commission (NEDC). 

A technocrat per excellence, Musa Yashi's dossier speaks volumes of his pedigree and track record of profound achievement and unprecedented and impeccable humanitarian services. His reappointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the Executive Director, Humanitarian Affairs, NEDC, undoubtedly, is not unconnected with his cleansheet, throughout his public service career. 

Musa Umar Yashi, in terms of humanitarian services, has reached a feat, hitherto unchecked. His impact on the lives of the impoverished Nigerians is written with indelible gold ink. In line with the sincere political will of actualizing his Renewed Hope Agenda, one can stand bold to say, without fear of contradiction, that Malam Musa Umar Yashi is the right peg in a round hole.

Yazid Inuwa Malamin Kasuwa congratulates Malam Musa Umar Yashi – the Executive Director [Humanitarian Affairs], North East Development Commission (NEDC) – for successfully delivering the NESDMP to the Vice President, HE Sen. Kashim Shettima, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.  The Board and Management of NEDC, led by Mohammed Goni Alkali – who is the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the NEDC – presented the North-East Stabilisation and Development Master Plan (NESDMP) to H.
