HUMANITARIAN SERVICES: Malam Musa Yashi Passed Vote of Confidence to Dr. Betta Edu

The Executive Director, Humanitarian Affairs, North East Development Commission (NEDC), Malam Musa Umar Yashi passed Vote of Confidence in Dr. Betta Edu, the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; describing her as a goal-getter. 

Malam Musa Yashi assured Nigerians of a better country that works for all, through the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration, of which Dr. Betta Edu is also a major stakeholder and a prosperous team member of the Tinubu's Project #GreaterNigeria.

Keenly following the trail of Dr. Betta Edu, right from onset of her assumption into office, as the Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, it is beyond every reasonable iota of doubt that she has been able to secure a landmark achievement and unprecedented breakthrough in the humanitarian front, particularly in the Boko Haram insurgency stricken North East – comprising of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe and Taraba states.

In terms of setting a precedence, Dr. Betta Edu's antecedents will surely proceeds her. Worthy of bringing to bare is her ability to crave numerous impeccable commitments from both national and international Humanitarian Service Provides;  including the prominent Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UNICEF, WHO, World Bank Group, the Government of Netherlands, amongst others.

Thus far, one can stand bold to state unambiguously, without fear of whatsoever facet of contradiction, that, she has reached a feat, hitherto unchecked amongst her contemporaries.

If the Honourable Minister will maintain the path of excellence she is presently striding upon, she will unarguably not only make her time felt, but will surely leave her footprints in the sand-of-times. Her name will be etched in marbles, inscribed on rock and written in an indelible gold ink in the good book of history, not only for the next generation and the generation yet unborn to emulate, but for posterity, as well, to adjudge her in the future.

NEDC Presented the North East Stabilisation and Development Master Plan (NESDMP) to VP Kashim Shettima, at Presidential Villa, Abuja
