GREATER NIGERIA PROJECT: Dr. Betta Edu to Collaborate with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

Hon. Yazid Inuwa Malamin Kasuwa, the National Director General of Dr. Betta Edu #GreaterNigeria Project, a humanitarian services based group, has complement the giant stride of Dr. Betta Edu – the Nigeria's Minister for Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation – towards arresting the pressing humanitarian crisis and poverty challenges bedeviling the country. 

This is coming sequel to the Minister's meeting with a delegation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in Abuja, where the Country's Director of the Foundation, Jeremie Zoungrana pledges a resounding commitment and affirmed the foundation's eagerness to collaborate with the Nigeria's Ministry of Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation. 

The collaboration is essential towards realizing the Federal Government's steadfast commitment to eradicating poverty in line with the Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, and 3 of the 2030 Agenda. 

The DG further reiterates the immeasurable support and contribution of the Executive Director, Humanitarian Affairs of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), Malam Musa Yashi, who is currently reciprocating the selfless effort of Dr. Betta Edu in finding a lasting panacea to the humanitarian crisis and poverty challenges of Nigeria. 

With collective effort of the Humanitarian Minister, Donor Agencies and that of the NEDC, the 2030 target of the Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, and 3 is achievable in Nigeria, the Hon. Yazid maintained.

Yazid Inuwa Malamin Kasuwa congratulates Malam Musa Umar Yashi – the Executive Director [Humanitarian Affairs], North East Development Commission (NEDC) – for successfully delivering the NESDMP to the Vice President, HE Sen.
