Dr Betta Edu to Collaborate with Military in Fighting Humanitarian Crisis and Poverty in Nigeria

The Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu was received in audience by the Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher G. Musa at the Defense Headquarters, Abuja.
The Minister seeks for military collaboration in the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's fight against humanitarian crisis bedeviling the country.
While responding to her request, the Chief of Defense Staff pledges his unreserved support towards ending humanitarian crisis and poverty challenges in the country. Maintaining that the security agencies are working as partners in progress with the Federal Government towards the actualization of the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr President.
He further lamented that insecurity is often used directly proportional to poverty rate of the country; and reaffirmed that the success of their fight against insecurity lies shoulder to shoulder with the corresponding decline in the poverty rate of the country.
